Michelle - Tech Team Coordinator

The main focus of my job was managing our Blogger websites. I created content for these sites and dealt with the technical work in keeping the websites up to date. Furthermore, I took on an administrative role that involved leading the UofA team and helping in the operation of the whole FACTSnet team. I also worked on personal projects like creating a career plan, learning Java and following an intro course to neural networks.

My publishable projects include:

• A guide to Computing Science courses at the UofA
• Article on open-mindedness
• Description of Summer Job and Internship Opportunities

Overall, my time with FACTSnet allowed me to work on projects relevant to my interests and personal development, while also giving me the opportunity to advance my leadership and teamwork skills.
