University of Alberta Accounting Club

About: UAAC’s goal is to form the bridge between accounting students and firms and foster an appreciation for the accounting profession in the business world. They accomplish this by hosting events where accounting students get the opportunity to demonstrate and practice the skills they have developed as well as network with accounting professionals.


Cooperative Education Students’ Association

About: CESA is a student organization that links business students, the Alberta School of Business, and employers. It acts as a forum for discussion and networking opportunities ― bringing students, faculty, and the business community together. It seeks to provide students with information and education about the co-op program and all its benefits as well as taking a support role for students enrolled in the co-op program.




Alberta Not for Profit Association

About: a student-run association that bridges the gap between students and the Canadian not-for-profit sector. The Alberta-Not-for-Profit Association (ANPA) engages young professionals, through networking, volunteer and hand-on opportunities, encouraging them to explore careers in the Not-for-profit sector which plays a critical role in the greater community.


Business and Beyond Toastmasters.

About: BBTC helps people from diverse backgrounds become more confident speakers, communicators and leaders. Members will get the opportunity to work on public speaking and communication. 

Business Exchange Association

About: The BEAis a student run organization that promotes international experiences to domestic students via hosting networking and social events as well as through providing a scholarship. 

It also provides support to exchanges students studying at the university of Alberta School of business through information sessions and a buddy program. 

Business Students Association

About: The BSA seeks to create an inclusive and engaging environment for undergraduate business students and advocate for student resources and opportunities, in preparing its members for success upon graduation from the University of Alberta. It helps to connect the Undergraduate Bachelor of Commerce Students to the Students’ Union, fellow business schools, and the corporate community via its various events and services. As well as providing valuable support to business students with mentorship programs and anti burnout assistance. 

SMO club

About: The SMO Club seeks to increase the awareness of the Strategy entrepreneurship and Management program at the University of Alberta. It does this by hosting events to increase visibility and through providing students with academic resources and opportunities for the practical application of classroom skills. In this way, they provide a wide variety of opportunities for current and potential students to connect with the academic and professional world.

PRIME Program

About:The student-run investment program, the Program for Research and Investment Management Excellence (PRIME) manages an investment fund worth over C$1,700,000, focusing on the Canadian equity market. PRIME was established to provide University of Alberta School of Business students with investment experience. Primarily geared towards finance majors and those with an interest in investment and equity markets, The program combines educational goals with hands-on portfolio management experience and practical real world investment experience in order to better prepare students for their careers.
